Cuisine: American

Ingredients

  • Ingredients:
  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp steak seasoning
  • 1 head shredded iceburg lettuce or pre-shredded bag
  • 1 tomato diced
  • 8-16 oz cheddar cheese shredded
  • ½ cup mayo
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 2 tsp pickle relish
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tsp vinegar white or apple cider
  • 3-4 russet potatoes cut into long, thin wedges (like fries)
  • Optional toppings: sesame seeds pickles, thin slice onion (raw or cooked), bacon crumbles

Method

  1. Begin by washing and cutting potatoes. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Coat potatoes in olive oil, salt, and pepper, and roast until tender, about 25 minutes. (You could also air fry them).
  2. Meanwhile, in a skillet, brown ground beef, breaking apart. Season with Worcestershire sauce and steak seasoning, and drain excess fat.
  3. For the sauce, in a small bowl, whisk mayo, ketchup, relish, vinegar, salt & pepper together until well combined.
  4. Assemble bowls- lettuce, ground beef, tomato, cheese, toppings of choice and a drizzle of sauce, with potatoes on side of bowl.

Notes

You can easily make this a version of your favorite burger using the toppings- mushrooms & Swiss instead of the sauce & cheddar, or crumbled bacon & Pepperjack, or crumbled bacon and blue cheese… the options are endless!
