This is really less of a recipe and more of an idea. My youngest child calls this "grab dinner", because you grab what you want from the board. You can call it a board dinner, snack dinner, or whatever works for you. The point is to make an easy and fun spread of things so that everyone can find something they like. Use this ingredients list as a guide and build your board. I try to do a soft cheese, like brie or goat, a salty cheese, like asiago or parmesan, and a fun one, like smoked cheddar. I use whatever fruit I have on hand- apples, easy peel oranges, grapes, truly whatever. Add a little of whatever you like to snack on too- pretzels, raisins, fruit snacks, or carrot sticks with Ranch! It's fun, customizable, and easy. And it doesn't have to be expensive- Aldi has great, affordable options, you can use what's in your fridge, and lots of grocery stores sell small, sample size wedges of different types of cheese so you get a smaller price tag. Use this as a guide and have a fun night in!
